Shower Door & Bathroom Mirror, Vancouver
Vancouver, BC
Project Overview
Frameless shower enclosure with brushed gold hardware and a full-width frameless vanity mirror, completed as a combined scope in a single visit at a high-end Vancouver bathroom renovation — with every glass and mirror element coordinated to the brushed gold fixture package.
The Challenge
A Vancouver homeowner completing a luxury ensuite renovation — with warm stone tile throughout, a ceiling-mounted square rain head, a soaker tub, and a full brushed gold fixture package — needed both the shower enclosure glass and the vanity mirror sourced and installed by a single contractor. Coordinating two glass scopes to a single premium hardware finish, within the site schedule of an active renovation, required precise measurement and hardware pre-selection before fabrication.
Our Solution
WaveGlass attended the site during the renovation to template both the shower opening and the vanity zone in one visit. The shower enclosure — a three-piece frameless layout with a fixed panel, centre swing door, and return panel with integrated towel bar — was fabricated in 10mm clear tempered with brushed gold hinges, pull handle, and floor-to-ceiling hinge supports to match the installed plumbing fixtures exactly. The full-width vanity mirror was custom-cut to the vanity zone dimensions with all edges CNC flat-polished, then adhered using mirror-safe mastic. Both scopes were completed in the same installation day.
The Result
Every glass element — shower enclosure hardware, towel bar, and mirror — reads as part of the same brushed gold finish package as the faucets, tub spout, and rain head. The large frameless mirror amplifies the recessed lighting across the full vanity wall. The homeowner's GC has since referred WaveGlass to two additional projects in Vancouver for combined shower-and-mirror scopes.
