Shower Glass & Bathroom Mirror Install, Burnaby
Burnaby, BC
Project Overview
Combined custom frameless shower enclosure and full-width vanity mirror, completed as a single glazing scope for a new home build in Burnaby — in partnership with Lovelle Construction.
The Challenge
Lovelle Construction required a glazing subcontractor who could deliver two separate glass scopes — shower glass and a bathroom mirror — under a single subcontract, coordinated to a tight move-in schedule. The shower opening had out-of-plumb tile walls, and the mirror needed to span a non-standard vanity width with polished edges on all four sides.
Our Solution
WaveGlass templated the shower opening on day one after tile curing was confirmed, capturing wall angles at multiple heights. We measured the vanity zone in the same visit to streamline fabrication. The 10mm tempered shower enclosure was hung on brushed gold hinges and a matching pull bar, coordinating with the homeowner's gold plumbing fixtures throughout the ensuite. The 6mm polished-edge mirror was adhered using mirror-safe mastic and secured with a discrete bottom J-channel. Both scopes were completed on day two.
The Result
Both scopes were delivered on schedule and passed contractor inspection in a single site visit. Lovelle Construction noted the clear communication, single point of contact, and precision of the glass fit. WaveGlass has since completed glazing on multiple Lovelle Construction projects across Burnaby and the Lower Mainland.
